The Friends of West University Place Parks hosted an event Jan. 31 that allowed about 200 attendees, coming and going through the event, to see outlandish country fashions while helping raise $600 for West U. parks. The main gist of the “Sashay” Fashion Show was not fund raising, but rather to appreciate donors, sponsors, underwriters, and other helpers of the annual Park Lovers’ Ball, which is coming up on Feb. 27.
