Nick Caledonia, a 20-year-old West U resident, was recently named NCAA Division 1 Academic All American for his academic record as a tennis player at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

West U Little League Seniors ended its season on Thursday after suffering a 4-3 loss to Bangor, Maine.
The Seniors had been ahead throughout the game, but Bangor edged past them and came out on top.

West U Little League Seniors defeated East Little League of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada, 7-5, last night in Bangor Maine.
Last night’s win makes the team 2-1, having defeated Lazio, Italy on Aug. 15 and losing to New Jersey on Aug. 17.

West U Little League All-Star Seniors defeated Lazio, Italy, 3-1, in Bangor, Maine last night.
This is the second year in a row that West U Little League has made it to the Senior League World Series.

Both West U Little League Seniors and the AL11’s won their respective East Texas state tournaments.
The Seniors won 4-2 and the AL11’s won 15-6 in extra innings.
The Seniors now continue their campaign but the 11’s have gone as far as they are allowed to go.
