West U Little League Senior All-Stars defeated New Mexico in the Southwest Regional tournament last night.
The WULL Seniors 6-3 win against New Mexico scored their spot in the World Series in Bangor, Maine at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
WULL will be playing Lazio, Italy Little League on Sunday.
This is the second year in a row that WULL will be headed to the Senior League World Series.

Congratulations to the West University Place Senior Little League team who won the first of four games Sunday in Bangor Maine in their effort to retain the 2009 Senior Little League World Series Championship. They defeated the Lazio Little League team from Italy 3-1. Their next game will be Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. against South Vineland Little League from Vineland New Jersey.
