West U. resident Evan Grimes, 13, honored his sister Corinne’s 16th birthday by hosting a donation drive to benefit a local charity, His Grace Foundation. Corinne died of leukemia six years ago when she was 9 years old. His Grace Foundation eased the load for the entire Grimes family when Corinne had cancer treatments at the Bone Marrow Transplant unit at Texas Children’s Hospital. Now Evan wants to help other children and families at the hospital.
