News, Things To Do

West University Place artist Sarah Hazel has contributed work for a new exhibition opening Saturday that will benefit an organization that helps abused children.

“The Angel Store” features the artwork of more than 50 artists, all focusing on “angelic” themes. The Oct. 17 grand opening features music and food, and begins at 6 p.m. at the Betz Art Gallery in Houston, 1208 W. Gray St.

The art is for sale, and proceeds benefit Justice For Children, a nonprofit organization of “guardian angels” that protect the rights of children from abusive households who are caught up in the legal system.

Devil or Angel? Lucifer was a Fallen Angel.

My daughter and I are testimony to the mistaken and confused approach to intervention taken by Justice for Children (JFC). You see JFC rejects the existence of Parental Alienation Syndrome (PAS), a fundamental flaw in thier constitution. It’s like saying that Borderline Personality Disorder, or Narcissism, or Histrionic Personality, or Bi Polar disorder, does not exist. PAS behavior follows and may easily be a part of such aberrations in mental health. Furthermore JFC behaves in a sexist manner. Read the interview of Alene Ross Levy in the May 2, 2007, Houston Chronicle. Then what JFC does is throw materially wealthy lawyers at the parent of their choice, the one they alone decide is an abuser, then JFC packs and walks. Vigilantes are what I call them. My daughter only now after 17 years of not talking to me, not seeing me, due to being abused by her mother engaging in severe level PAS of her, has only now begun a conversation at 23 years of age with me due to the ‘help’ JFC gave her. JFC destroyed me and my daughter for absolutely no good reason by returning her to a felonious, alienating mother. Devil art as a theme would be most appropriate for JFC.
