The Edloe Street Café and Deli will reopen July 8 with a new look, cooler air and a better porch, according to owner and West U. Councilman George Boehme. The café has been closed since July 4 for what Boehme calls a “facelift.”
The restaurant’s red paint will now be a cream color, and the new, higher porch will eliminate issues with water pooling in the middle. The air-conditioning system is also being replaced.
