Houston Independent School District schools are operating during normal hours this morning, but TAKS testing has been cancelled due to severe weather and flooding.
Several area schools have been delayed, including:
The Emery/Weiner School will open at 9:45 a.m., and school will last until 4 p.m.
River Oaks Baptist delayed until 10 a.m.
St. John’s School delayed until 10 a.m.
Thomas Episcopal Church & School delayed until 10 a.m.
Episcopal High School, delayed opening until 10:30 a.m.
The Post Oak School, delayed opening until 10:30 a.m.
University of St. Thomas, delayed opening until 11 a.m.
